who we are

The Founder
The company was founded in 1986 under the original name La Stampa by Eugenia Vamvaka, who currently serves as CEO. In 2020, we rebranded with the new name Semiology.
Our customers are wise, creative women with a spirit of adventure and joy, who live life to the fullest. They find comfort and elegance in Semiology—two essential elements that allow them to be their true selves.
All our products are made in Greece, ensuring quality both in production and distribution. We operate through a retail and B2B network in Greece, as well as in international markets across Europe, Asia, and America.

Our Vision
At Semiology, we focus on the connection between well-being and fashion, with the science of semiotics at the heart of our philosophy. Semiotics studies signs and systems of meaning, helping to define our identity and highlight our unique, individual characteristics.
Semiology (formerly La Stampa) aligns with the values of women who define their identity through the lens of signs. Backed by our long-standing experience, we listen to the needs of the modern woman, placing emphasis on well-being through the prism of style, clothing, fabrics, and high quality.
We design garments that reflect the values of contemporary women—modern yet timeless clothing made from natural materials that are kind to the body and the environment. Our pieces are versatile, easily transformed with accessories, and effortlessly combined with the rest of your wardrobe. They are easy to care for and clean, making you feel good by offering comfort and ease.
